I just went back to work yesterday. I met this new boss for the very first time. She is a mother of two and she told me that she totally understands what I am going through. Surprisingly we had a h2h chat about motherhood and work. She offered me flexi/part time work and gave me 3 days to think about it and work out a proposal for her, so that she can bring this up to HR and the higher management.
I was so tired that I applied leave for 2 days (to rest at home) next week. And she approved my leave. I mean, I am away from work for 5 months and I applied for leave again and it was approved immediately. So very kind of such a boss.
